About JSON to Excel
This JSON to Excel converter turns a JSON array of objects into an .xlsx workbook. Each object becomes a row and each key becomes a column header, so an API response opens cleanly in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
Nested objects and arrays are flattened into dot-path columns such as plan.tier or roles.0. Turn flattening off to keep nested values as JSON text in one cell.

How it works
One row per object
Paste a JSON array of objects. Columns follow the order in which keys first appear, and a missing key leaves its cell empty. A single object becomes a one-row sheet, and an array of arrays is written as rows of cells.
Nested data
With Flatten nested on, each nested field gets its own column named by its path, for example plan.seats. With it off, nested objects and arrays are written as JSON text in one cell.
Name the worksheet
Type a sheet name in the bar above the panes. Excel limits sheet names to 31 characters and does not allow characters like / or *, so those are replaced.
Download the file
The output pane shows the sheet name and row count. Click Download to save the binary .xlsx workbook.
