Privacy Policy

JsonKit is a set of developer tools that run in your browser with JavaScript. The JSON, CSV, YAML, XML, tokens or other data you paste is processed on your own device. It is never uploaded to a server, logged or shared. After a tool page loads, that tool keeps working if you go offline.
What we don't collect
We do not have user accounts, so we never ask for your name, email or a password. We do not show ads, build marketing profiles or sell personal data. The content you enter into a tool is not sent to our analytics or hosting systems.
Website analytics
JsonKit uses a small analytics script served from an.jsonkit.com. It counts page views in aggregate so we can see which pages are useful. The analytics request can include normal web request data, such as the page URL, referrer, IP address and user agent. It does not receive the JSON, tokens, files or other content you paste into a tool. JsonKit does not use this data for advertising.
Data stored on your device
Some preferences are stored in your browser with localStorage, for example your light or dark theme choice. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Hosting and server logs
JsonKit is hosted on Cloudflare's edge network. Like any website, each page is served over a normal HTTP request. The hosting provider may process standard request metadata, such as your IP address, user agent and the requested URL, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This is separate from the content you paste into the tools, which is never sent in these requests.
Changes to this policy
If a feature changes how data is handled, we will update this page and its "last updated" date. JsonKit does not currently use advertising or upload the content entered into its tools.
