The short version

JsonKit is a collection of client-side JSON tools. Every tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The JSON, CSV, YAML, XML, tokens or any other data you paste is processed on your own device and is never uploaded to a server, logged, or shared. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tools keep working.

What we don't collect

We do not have user accounts, so we never ask for your name, email or a password. We do not run analytics, advertising or third-party tracking scripts. We do not build profiles, set marketing cookies, or sell data — there is no data to sell, because your input never leaves your browser.

Data stored on your device

To make the tools convenient, some preferences are stored locally in your browser using localStorage — for example your light or dark theme choice. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Hosting and server logs

JsonKit is hosted on Cloudflare's edge network. Like any website, serving a page involves a normal HTTP request, and the hosting infrastructure may automatically process standard request metadata — such as your IP address, user agent and the URL requested — for the purpose of delivering the site and protecting it from abuse. This is ordinary web-server operation and is separate from the content you paste into the tools, which is never sent in these requests.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add a feature that changes how data is handled — for example optional analytics — we will update this page and its "last updated" date first. As it stands today, there is no analytics and no advertising anywhere on the site.
